About Me
Justine is a qualified Midwife with hospital management experience in Quality and Safety. Justine has extensive experience in the role of Coordinator at a busy metropolitan hospital maternity unit. Justine has worked in numerous specialities such as Neonatal Intensive Care, Paediatrics, Obstetrics, Emergency, Theatre, Organ and Bone Marrow Transplant, Surgical, Telemetry/ Cardiac Care, Oncology and Palliative Care. With over 18 years experience in the health care industry both in Australia and in the USA, Justine has a wealth of knowledge and is fully cognisant of the human body's wondrous capabilities.

- Co-author of upcoming Midwifery Journal research article "Conflicting Advice Around Breastfeeding" with Professor Yvonne Hauck, Staff Development Educator/Midwife Cath Graham-Smith & Clinical Midwife Sue Kay.
The purpose of this study was to explore women's perception of conflicting advice around breastfeeding from formal support networks specifically health professionals involved in postnatal support.The research findings were presented by Professor Hauck at the following events:
- Composed and published "Blood Pressure & Your Pregnancy" pamphlet (2006) utilised currently in public maternity facilities in WA.
- Represented Women & Newborn Services (OPH) for the Poster Presentation of "The Snoezelen Environment: An Innovative Healthy Resource for West Australian Childbearing Women" at Achieving Excellence in WA Health Conference, Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre 2006.
